Actisense (Poole, UK) is beta-testing the EMU-1, a specialized analog to NMEA 2000 interface that converts analog engine parameters (temperature, pressure, tach/RPM, etc.) into the corresponding NMEA 2000 engine parameter PGNs. The device has been designed to simplify processes and reduce the number of input/output wires required at each engine. The EMU-1 is scheduled to go into production during the second quarter of 2012 and will be compatible with older engines.

The GoSaw provides fast and accurate vertical and horizontal cuts in a fully portable tool. It handles sheets up to 4’x8’ and remains stable on uneven surfaces.

Awlgrip finish primerAwlgrip 321 HS Undercoat

Awlgrip (Union, NJ) has launched a new high solids finish primer: 321 HS Undercoat. It provides the ideal surface for subsequent Awlgrip topcoat applications and is an alternative to conventional finish primers. This reduced-emissions primer can be used with any applicator, and the dry paint film gives off a slight gloss or sheen to make surface imperfections easier to see and fix prior to topcoating.
